// WHAT WE COLLECT

PSYCH//OS stores the following information locally on your device only, using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.sync API:

Your MBTI personality type (e.g. "INTJ") — used solely to display your personality profile, daily tips, and compatibility information.
Your preferred notification time — used solely to schedule your optional daily cognitive tip reminder.

// WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT

No names, email addresses, or contact information
No location or IP address data
No browsing history or web activity
No usage analytics or telemetry
No financial or payment information
No assessment answers or psychological data beyond the final 4-letter type result
No data of any kind is sent to external servers

// THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

PSYCH//OS loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) for display purposes only. This is a standard web font request and does not involve any personal data from our extension. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for their data practices.

// DATA STORAGE

Your MBTI type and settings are stored via chrome.storage.sync, which may sync across your Chrome-signed devices. This sync is managed entirely by Google Chrome and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Takumi Studio has no access to this data.

// DATA DELETION

You can delete all stored data at any time by opening the extension popup, navigating to the CONFIG tab, and selecting "Clear All Data". Alternatively, selecting "Retake Assessment" clears your type result. Uninstalling the extension also removes all locally stored data.

// PSYCHOLOGICAL DATA NOTICE

PSYCH//OS is an informational tool for self-exploration based on publicly available MBTI personality theory. It is not a clinical assessment and does not store, transmit, or analyse psychological data beyond the final type selection made by the user. No assessment answers are retained after the result is calculated.

// CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

PSYCH//OS is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

// CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If we update this privacy policy, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
